Update

Well well well, long time no update this, well, got my 1000D, so far i am happy with it, would give it a 80%. The lens are, well like kai say, what u pay is what u get, the 18mm to55mm kit lens is quite a good one, it is a 70% lens and it has vibration reduction, 70% for night use, 80% for morning use, the tamron 70MM to 300MM is quite a nice piece, very nice for potrait, and bright sun light area, night, it will suck, but it is what u pay for, overall, 60% lens, a additional points is the macro capability, it is quite ok, but a lot of the time it is blur cause there is not vibration compensator. but a good lens for those who want the telephoto capability. The 50MM f1.8, it a 80% lens, it gives bokeh for potrait and it is handy in all condition, at night, in proprely lit place, it is very nice, but if the shutter speed drops below 50, then it will be very very blur ! so i will switch between this lens and the kit lens, or use shutter speed mode and keep it at 50

I am looking forward to get a flash unit.

wow, this Dec is so busy, as the house in under renovation. Well, my dream for a DSLR is quite close yet so far. Well, New year resolution not yet done, but i hope to get it done in 2 days time. So is my club new goal.

Courage under fire ? sort of ! haha

Well, being trying to introduce my cell leader to my capt. well, My capt has been like a dad to me, thou i may not love him very much, but i sure damn respect him !

So now the problem is, i believe i have push the joke a bit far, hehe, cause i tag other people at her pic, but my heart is telling me that i got to take this chance or lost it.

Well, it is like this, my capt is 4 page now, so it is high time for it, but he seems busy with BB stuff till now ! everyone is also trying to help him, so i am trying to cip in also lah ! Then my cell leader is a very nice single lady, makes the perfect match ! what more can u ask ! both teach !

So during the Eagle leaders training, i tried to intro but it failed, then the founders day, of all the church, it is at my church !!! so 2 weeks ago, i started to tease my cell leader about pairing them, and also another guy.

But yesterday, i tagged her pic with my BB boys, and she say "enough la", not sure she marah or not this, then today i ask my sis try to joke with her, she say the say thing. Then today, she post something in FB, my sis write, ada reply, i write no reply !!! Die loh like this !

So now, thinking weather to really intro or not ! but my heart is saying yes ! go for it ! not need to worry, relax and do it !

Dear friends, if u had time, do read this book " The Art of war" by Sun Tze ! and here is why !

Sun Tzu's The Art of War has influenced many notable figures. Traditional histories recount that the first emperor of a unified China, Qin Shi Huang, considered the book invaluable in ending the Age of Warring States. The Art of War was introduced in Japan c. AD 760, and the book quickly became popular among Japanese generals. The work also significantly influenced the unification of Japan. Mastery of its teachings was honored among the samurai, and its teachings were both exhorted and exemplified by influential daimyo and shogun such as Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Tokugawa Ieyasu.^[12]

Historians popularly recount how French emperor Napoleon studied Sun's military writings and used them to successfully wage war against the rest of Europe. The emperor's disregard for central principles such as attentiveness to temporal conditions is largely credited for his eventual defeat in Russia. Admiral of the Fleet Tōgō Heihachirō, who led Japan's forces to victory against Russia in the Russo-Japanese War, was an avid reader of The Art of War.^[13]

Communist Chinese leader Mao Zedong partially credited his victory over Chiang Kai-shek and the Kuomintang in 1949 to The Art of War. The work strongly influenced Mao's writings about guerrilla warfare, which further influenced communist insurgencies around the world.^[12]

General Vo Nguyen Giap, the military mastermind behind victories over French and the American forces in Vietnam, was an avid student and practitioner of Sun Tzu's ideas. America's defeat here, more than any other event, brought Sun Tzu to the attention of American military thought leaders. Ho Chi Minh translated the work for his Vietnamese officers to study.^[14][15]

The Department of the Army in the United States, through its Command and General Staff College, has directed all units to maintain libraries within their respective headquarters for the continuing education of personnel in the art of war. The Art of War is mentioned as an example of works to be maintained at each individual unit, and staff duty officers are obliged to prepare short papers for presentation to other officers on their readings.^[16]

Sun Tzu's The Art of War is listed on the Marine Corps Professional Reading Program (formerly known as the Commandant's Reading List).^[17]

During the Persian Gulf War in the 1990s, both General Norman Schwarzkopf, Jr. and General Colin Powell practiced Sun Tzu's principles of deception, speed, and attacking the enemy's weakness.^[12]

Mark McNeilly writes in Sun Tzu and the Art of Modern Warfare that a modern interpretation of Sun and his importance throughout Chinese history is critical in understanding China's push to becoming a superpower in the 21st century. Modern Chinese scholars explicitly rely on historical strategic lessons and The Art of War in developing their theories, seeing a direct relationship between their modern struggles and those of China in Sun Tzu's time. There is a great perceived value in Sun Tzu's teachings and other traditional Chinese writers, which are used regularly in developing the strategies of the Chinese state and its leaders.^[18]
