Well well well, long time no update this, well, got my 1000D, so far i am happy with it, would give it a 80%. The lens are, well like kai say, what u pay is what u get, the 18mm to55mm kit lens is quite a good one, it is a 70% lens and it has vibration reduction, 70% for night use, 80% for morning use, the tamron 70MM to 300MM is quite a nice piece, very nice for potrait, and bright sun light area, night, it will suck, but it is what u pay for, overall, 60% lens, a additional points is the macro capability, it is quite ok, but a lot of the time it is blur cause there is not vibration compensator. but a good lens for those who want the telephoto capability. The 50MM f1.8, it a 80% lens, it gives bokeh for potrait and it is handy in all condition, at night, in proprely lit place, it is very nice, but if the shutter speed drops below 50, then it will be very very blur ! so i will switch between this lens and the kit lens, or use shutter speed mode and keep it at 50
